Celebrating Rachel Kirk, Director of Learning and Development
After almost five years with Riverside Payments, we’re very pleased to announce that Rachel Kirk has been promoted to Director of Learning and Development! Rachel joined the team in November of 2017 when she decided to take a leap of faith and enter the sales world. In 2018, she won our March Madness competition after being with the company for only four months.
In 2019, when the Director of Sales Success position was created, Rachel was the obvious choice for the position. Her responsibilities were focused around the retention of our Account Executives, field training, coaching, mentoring, small group training, and game planning. She’s been an invaluable resource to new representatives for years. When the pandemic hit, she added more responsibilities to her plate—taking on inside sales and closing deals as a National Sales Manager and filling in the gaps for Talent Acquisition by conducting interviews and conducting new hire training.
Having her hands in so many aspects of the company has given Rachel an amazingly well-rounded perspective, and her ability to see the big picture while connecting with others is a huge part of why she was chosen for the role of Director of Learning and Development. In her new role, she really wants to develop new and relevant training content to empower her team and our reps to further their success.
