This year, Riverside is proud to share that we not only promoted Movember by rocking some serious ‘staches, we also raised $5300 for the Movember Foundation! Our philanthropic partners are incredibly important to us, and we’re very proud to support Movember—a leader in Men’s Health Awareness.

The Movember Foundation opens up the conversation around men’s health and funds projects that fuel progress. Since 2006, they’ve funded the development of 54 inventions, 70 therapies, and 107 diagnostic tests for prostate cancer.

They’re taking on the gamut of health risk factors that lead to premature fatalities in men, from depression and other mental health concerns to testicular cancer. We’re proud to do our part to support their mission and push for progress.

CEO Brandon Skinner says: “I want to extend a big thanks to our clients and our staff for helping us to raise awareness for the Movember Foundation. The Movember Foundation was the very first charity that we got involved with when we launched Riverside. When starting Riverside my grandfather passed away from prostate cancer and the doctors said if they would've caught it just a little sooner he would have lived. So that is why we chose to partner with Movember and that it is why it holds a special place in our hearts. That is why we rock these ugly things/lip sweaters all month. It's ok to go the doctor. It’s ok to ask for help. I appreciate everyone who took part of Movember this month.”
