For Jeremy Shroyer, pairing his aptitude for sales with his love of helping people thrive is the winning combination that inspires him every day.

When Jeremy’s job as the Sales and Marketing Director for a retirement community became less about helping people, and more about corporate policy, he knew it was time for a change. His friend, Brandon Skinner, introduced him to Merchant Services before founding Riverside Payments with Jason Reese and bringing Jeremy aboard. The trio knocked on doors late into the evening and on weekends, quickly building a client base from the ground up.

From its humble beginnings, Riverside quickly grew into a multi-million dollar corporation with 130 employees and independent sales reps occupying 12,000 square feet of office space in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.

Jeremy quickly advanced from National Sales Manager to VP of Sales where his role is to recruit and train new reps, track sales metrics, and oversee the District and National Sales Managers. He also develops and implements sales techniques, scripting, training materials, and protocols. Additionally, Jeremy provides ongoing small group trainings to build skills and reinforce objectives that aid in the success of Account Executives, and is spearheading the Inside Sales Department.

In the coming year, Riverside projects doubling the sales and marketing force and increasing revenue by 40%. Jeremy looks forward to the next growth spurt where he plans to implement creative in-house training exercises and new programs, conduct market research to improve customer acquisition, cultivate new programs that advance operations, and develop sales training programs open to other industries who want to enhance their team’s sales performance.

Before Riverside, Jeremy talks about having been somewhat of a pessimist, never really believing that he was meant to succeed. Riverside’s model helped him embrace a new lifestyle where he sets lofty goals and reaches higher than ever before to achieve them.

“You have to go beyond the struggle of living paycheck to paycheck by believing that you can be more, and that you will be successful. All it takes is a positive mindset, belief in yourself, setting clear goals with coordinated actions, and visualizing a successful outcome. Riverside has literally changed my life and I want to help as many people as I can to change their lives too.”

In his limited spare time, Jeremy is a devoted husband to his loving wife of 8 years, Trinity, and eighteen year old step-daughter, Ashley. He recently purchased a new home, and Jeremy and Trinity are finally going on a honeymoon to Bora Bora this summer. He loves being in a position where his family wants for nothing, and he has Riverside to thank for that.
