IT'S DOWN TO THE FINAL FOUR OF MARCH MADNESS

April 6, 2017

The beginning of March marked the start of March Madness where 62 Riverside Account Executives endured a head-to-head competition to see who will reign supreme, come out on top, and claim this year's title.

WE'RE DOWN TO THE...

CARRIE HOUSE VS. NICK WAGNER

&

JUSTIN GURTNER VS. KYLE MEYER

As the stats stand currently Nick Wagner has the jump on Carrie with his 250, and Justin has the edge with 374 to Kyle's 109, but anything can happen in the 2 remaining days of this week to pull ahead and upset the competition.

MEET THE PLAYERS...

CARRIE

Veteran, CARRIE HOUSE, joined the Riverside family in June of 2015. Coming from a decade’s background in auto sales, Carrie immediately made a name for herself as a dominant force in the field and recruiter of some of the most successful reps in the company, quickly earning her a promotion to district manager.

“Everyone at Riverside is so supportive and uplifting. I love saving business owners money and having the ability and opportunity to work from anywhere in the country. I’m thankful to have this platform to grow both personally and professionally and advance with the World’s Best Merchant Service Company.”

WHEN ASKED WHAT CARRIE WANTS TO SAY TO HER OPPONENT, NICK…

“It’s an honor to compete against Nick in the final four.  It’s been great mentoring both Nick and Justin, and seeing them both find so much success with Riverside. They’ve both reached out to me and Phil for mentorship and their hard work and perseverance has really paid off. Best of luck to Nick, Justin and Kyle!”

NICK

Before Riverside, NICK WAGNER was a Technical Director for Columbus Crew Player Development, ran his own sports agency and played professional soccer overseas until an injury set him on a new path. Wanting to lessen his 80-hour-a-week workload with a new challenge that still had a competitive nature, Nick joined the Riverside crew in September of 2016.

“At my first appointment, I signed a 2-location deal, but subsequently hit a dry spell and it took me a while to find my footing, but I kept working, persevering, and staying positive and it has paid off. Riverside has given me independence to be my own boss, the financial freedom to provide for my family, and the time to spend with them.”

WHEN ASKED WHAT NICK WANTS TO SAY TO HIS OPPONENT, CARRIE…

“Carrie is a great leader and her role in the company is valuable, so going up against such a competitive strong and independent woman shows the complexity of Riverside, but GAME ON!!! The only question is, who’s coming in 2nd, ‘cause this MOFO is coming in first!!!”

JUSTIN

Though it’s only been a short time since JUSTIN GURTNER joined the Riverside family back in October of 2016, he’s made a huge impact on everyone in the company with his amazing positivity, drive, and work ethic that everyone would love to emulate. Before Riverside, Justin was a chemical re-packager for a pharmaceutical company, enjoyed a sales and management background and served in the U.S. Army.

“Ever since I first walked through the door of Riverside, I fit right into the energy, atmosphere, and culture. While I had my ups and downs, I’ve experienced nothing but support from my managers and mentors, and have become really close friends with people I never would have met outside of Riverside. I used to set really low goals and fell short. Now, I’m actually reaching higher than ever before and obtaining my goals. I’ve always had the drive and self-motivation, but never had the vehicle to fulfill my dreams.”

WHEN ASKED WHAT JUSTIN  WANTS TO SAY TO HIS OPPONENT, KYLE…

“I wish you luck, but my only opponent is me. I let my actions speak for itself.”

KYLE MEYER

Though KYLE MEYER is the brand newbie of the bunch, in his month with Riverside he’s already making a name for himself competing against the best reps in the company! Kyle comes from a background in auto sales and served our country in the U.S. Airforce for five years before joining Riverside.

“I love the attitude and atmosphere of Riverside and building a successful portfolio of clients who are happy to be processing with us.  One of the reasons I made a career switch is never having time at home with my 5-year-old daughter, Brooklyn. Riverside gives me the freedom to have an amazing work life as well as quality family and leisure time.”

WHEN ASKED WHAT KYLE WANTS TO SAY TO HIS OPPONENT, JUSTIN…

“May the best man win!!!”

And on that note…

Who will be the BEST MAN or WOMAN, and who will move on to the FINAL 2 next week? Only two more days this week to prove worthy of moving on to the final round of competition during  March Madness 2017!
